Mountain Air Ranch

Beautiful grounds and nice, helpful staff. We stayed in the lodge which was a little dated but very clean. The upstairs room was pretty hot even with the a/c cranked. Thank goodness for the lovely staff member who found a fan for us to use...thank you! The hiking trails were the bomb and well marked. Great for getting an outdoor workout. They have a tiny gift shop. We were pleasantly surprised it had so many nice things to choose from. I have to knock off a few stars since their website mentions a cafe with home cooked meals. That sounded great to us since we had been camping for the last week and were looking forward to it. Nope...only open on weekends. It would have been very helpful if the website mentioned this since we would have shopped before we arrived. Now we had to get dressed and leave to shop for food for the next four days. It all worked out in the end even with the inconvenience.

Friday was my very first visit here and let me tell you this place is a magical slice of paradise. I wound up staying the night I loved it so much. The staff here treat you like family and I love them they're so nice. The wonderful ladies at the front desk call me Just Joe, they asked me what my name was and what I perfered to be called by and I smiled and told them just Joe lol so that's my name there and I love it😁. Some of the most wonderful people you'll ever meet. The food is delicious and the ice cream shop is amazing too. If you are looking for a magical getaway vacation in the breath taking beautiful mountains this certainly is the place. Out of all the places I've visited and reviewed this is by far my favorite! I highly recommend coming here, and will be looking forward to becoming a member. Also for parents, this is one of the most kid friendly places I have seen. I witnessed the community here treat children as if they were their own, there's even a kids play room and everything, I would have no problems letting my son play and have fun here anytime. The community here reminds me of the good old days when you could leave your house and car unlocked and not even have to worry about it. I met so many nice down to earth great people here it was awesome. There's not enough star's available to give this place the great review it deserves honestly. I took a long weekend and stayed at the ponderosa cabin. It was my first and definitely not last time visiting a nudist resort. The cabin was great, super comfy bed, lots of towels, full kitchen, all the things. And for $140 a night with taxes included! Totally a fair price. Good food by the pool, shower,pool and hot tub were all very clean. The staff and guests were all very welcoming, friendly folks all around! The hiking trails are great, well marked and I saw a lot of deer. Great experience all around 10/10

I wasn't sure what to expect and I was very pleased with the ranch. Kris and her crew were helpful and kind. It's really amazing they remember everyone and their first names. We went for a tour and found out that there would be a dance that evening (which was quite fun and the live band was fantastic by the way). We met some new friends too.. we also swam, enjoyed the sauna, played pool and hung put in the hot tub.. We felt comfortable the whole time we were there. We are starting our membership process and I'm planning my return.

Fantastic place with very friendly, non-judgmental people. Challenging but fun and well marked hiking trail on private property. The wifi was excellent and we ended up streaming a few shows when it was raining outside. I have to give props to the ladies who work there - they are amazingly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome for our first time there. Would recommend some good walking/hiking shoes since it is a large property and you can get a workout going places.

Such a beautiful place, so well taken care of and you get to see wildlife. A very peaceful and wonderful place to go. Chris (manager) was so unbelievably amazing to me, she went above and beyond for me. I was nervous about being there by myself and I was very unprepared for the trip (things happened unexpectedly) but she came to my rescue a few times, forever grateful!!! Thank you again so much.
